The Direction of Technology Protection specializes in the preparation, drafting, filing, prosecution, maintenance and enforcement of patents, utility models, industrial designs, industrial drawings and plant varieties, both in Mexico and in any other country. The specific areas of expertise in this field are as follows:

1. Prior art analyses for determining the novelty of an invention, the validity of a patent, the potential infringement of prior patents by an invention, and the like. For this purposes, the firm has its own data base containing all Mexican patents issued from 1971 to the present date
2. Design and preparation of patent applications both for Mexican and foreign filing.
3. Analysis of the patentability of inventions, including the necessary searches for this purpose.
4. Patent watch services
5. Prosecution and maintenance of all types of industrial property rights, including protection for plant varieties and microchips.
6. Enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trade secrets.
